[Potion Making]

I heard Meriri's voice in my head saying [I was given the skill Potion Making]. It sounds like those notifications that can you hear when you are playing a game.

But potion making, really? Well it's true that recovery potions are a necessity for adventurers, so they're always in demand thus it's easy to make money selling them. It will be really easy and simple if you can make them quickly and easily using a skill. Besides, injured people and soldiers might respect and appreciate me if I can produce large amount of potions. So I guess in the meantime, all of my requests are being met.

"Pfft. What do you think?　You're starting to want to become my believer, aren't you?　Mwahaha!"

(Hmmm, I have a few questions. ...... seriously answer this. Are potions a necessity on the world I’m reincarnating into?)

If there’s enough demand then I’ve got a money-making skill on my hands. Though I'm worried about Meriri's guarantee.

“Not so much ...it's been a lot of peaceful lately, but countries sometimes go to war with each other for territory. Sometimes adventurers fight demons but since the demons are one of the other races, like the beastmen, so I don't think they have any special rivalry with them. They do fight in wars sometimes, though.

I wonder if the value of the potion can be swayed by the fact that there are adventurers and that there are wars between countries. There are a few things I'm curious about this, but I'd better check this on the ground. If I take Meriri's word for it, I'm going to regret it later.

(Does magic, skills, and abilities exist in this world?)

“Magic exists, but not many people can use it. Also status and level doesn't in this world, so you can't get stronger by obtaining experience points. If we are talking about supernatural power, I would say that only the magic that we, the goddesses, can give is applicable. There are people who have mastered the art, but they don't have the same ability as the magic that we have. You can think of magic as being in a realm that ordinary people can't reach.”

.....So that means I'm now one of those people who isn't normal? Then I have to make sure that people won't find about my potion making skill.

(Does potion making requires me to gather and mix herbs?)

“No, you asked for something easy and fun, right? So, I've made it that you only have to think of the potion that you want and you can instantly create it. Normally the process to make a potion really takes a long time but for you it would like snapping your fingers. But I'm going to limit the rank of the potion that you can make. The potions are ranked from S to G. The S rank will only be available when you officially become my apostle.”

Even if she is a goddess like Artemirina-sama, Meriri is not well known in this world, as she hasn’t done anything so far for the people and because of that if people would hear her name, they would think that she’s an evil god and that’s really bad for me. Also, it wouldn't be easy for her to gain faith as the gap between her and Artemirina-sama is so huge.

(Would you accept it as an achievement if I could increase the number of your believers?)

"Did you come up with something!? …Yes! If you increase the number of my believers, I will recognize you as an apostle!"

(Don’t upgrade people into apostles easily without their consent! It’s fine for me if you just appreciate my efforts. Then I'll try to increase the number of your believers, but if Meriri's name is already established as an evil god in this world then it might really be impossible. If that’s the case then you can remove me from your believers and also you can take your magic back.)

(I don’t care what you say as you also did the same thing before. Now I understand why there’s a rumor circulating that you’re an evil god)

All of a sudden, she is feigning ignorance. With this I’m sure there’s tough road ahead of me.
