Someone is knocking on my front door so early in the morning.

so noisy. 

"Who's there?" 

"Open up, Zekudo False! I know that you’re in there!　 Now, come out quietly like an adult!"

I wonder what they want from me. 

I’m sure I didn't do anything that would get me in trouble, that the soldiers would come knocking on my door. 

Rather than a soldier’s voice, it's more like the voice of a beautiful and noisy woman. 

"Yes! I'll open it now! " 

If it had been a man who came to visit me, I would have decided to stay in bed for sure! 

But since it’s a woman, then it’s a different story. 

As a knight, I could not disrespect a woman. 

I opened the front door with great enthusiasm. 

Standing in the doorway was a woman with long blonde hair. 

She was beautiful to the point that even though I was really sleepy, I became awake instantly. She was also emitting an aura of nobility. 

She was dressed in green-colored armor, and her sharp, slightly raised emerald green eyes were shining. Combined with the feather ornament in her hair, that was a perfect match for her. 

Her extraordinary style, which is so rich in undulations and fullness that it can be seen even from her armor, is very eye-catching, and the way she holds her hands on her hips is very elegant.

"......Are you the Dark Knight Zekudo?" 

The woman said that with a genuine surprise on her face.

Well, I usually get this reaction when I meet someone for the first time. 

It seems that my face and name don’t match. 

So, I always try to keep up appearances.

Well, my name sounds too bad to begin with.

"Yes, that’s right, and you are?"

When I asked her so as not to be rude, the woman's rounded eyes returned to their sharpness.

She made a gesture of softly stroking and shaking her beautiful blonde hair with her hand, as if to show off her beauty.

Yes, she is indeed really beautiful and I can’t deny that fact to begin with. For me, something beautiful is still beautiful.

"Excuse me for coming so early in the morning. My name is Rohee Maxia, the Emerald Knight. I am here to meet the captain of the [Dragon Killer Squad] that will be formed in the future."

The "Dragon Killer Squad" is the name of the unit I was assigned by the king the other day.

And of course, I’m the captain.

It is really nice of her to come and personally see me.

"Ah, so you are a member of my unit. My name is Zekudo False. I'm still young, but I’m looking forward to working with you."

When I extended my hand for a handshake, Rohee pushed my hand away, then she glared at me.

"Don't get me wrong. I don't recognize you as my captain yet."

I knew it.

Well, I knew from the start that this would happen, as I had been feeling uneasy ever since I was entrusted with this unit.

One of the reasons for that is that when I saw the name of Rohee Maxia on the unit roster, I noticed that her age was listed as 17 years old and I, the captain, was 15. In other words, I was younger than she was. 

I guess she didn't like the idea of having a captain two years younger than her. 

" So, you don't want a younger captain after all?" 

"Of course. I can't accept the idea that someone with less experience than me is standing above me. 

"I understand how you feel. I would really hate it if my captain was a man. " 

"Huh? I don't know what you're talking about, but if you're going to be my superior, you'd better be good at what you do, because if you’re not, then it will be really troublesome. " 

When Rohee said that she shook her proud blonde hair with her hand, when she did that, the sweet fragrance of her hair was softly wafting through the air. It was really wonderful. 

Also, if you didn’t know, I’m one of the three S-class knights in this country. That’s why... 

"I’m sorry, Rohe-san, there are now four S-class knights. As I was also recognized as an S-class knight yesterday. " 

"Oh, is that so?" Then tell me why you, a newly appointed S-class knight, were chosen to be the captain instead of me. " 

The reason why I was chosen as a captain? 

To be honest, the only reason the king gave me was that I was the only man in the unit.

Rohee said that with a cold voice while squinting her eyes.

"If you’re going to apologize and cry for what you have said, now is the time to do that." 

No, I wouldn’t do that as that would be too pathetic for a man. 

"You must be joking. Then why don't you go dragon hunting with me after school today? " 

I said that confidently. And also, I don’t hate the idea of a dragon hunting date with a beautiful woman; it’s more like it’s a wonderful opportunity for me to be together with a beautiful woman. 

Rohee seemed surprised at my words, and her eyes became rounded. 

"Hmmm, it seems that you are really confident about your skills." 

"Of course, you won’t be disappointed." 

"Fufu, you’re really an interesting person. Well, since I've already accomplished what I needed to do here, I will leave now. Let’s meet at the gate of the school later." 

"Roger that." 

When I replied, Rohee turned her heels and walked away. The dress like armor that she is wearing is making a clanking sound while she is walking. 

When I looked at her back, I saw that she was carrying a giant hammer. It seems that the hammer is Rohee’s weapon of choice. 

That hammer is the [Magnum Hammer], and it’s a special weapon called a "trigger weapon." 

When that hammer is used to strike an enemy, it will trigger an explosion, causing additional damage. 

It’s really amazing that even though she’s a woman, she can still handle that kind of weapon. 

She is indeed an S-class.

"Rohee-san!" 

"Yes? Do you need something? " 

Rohee turned around in response to my call. 

I really want to ask her something. I was wondering if I should ask her later on, but I’ve decided to ask it now. 

"Do you have a boyfriend?" 

When I asked, Rohee stopped moving. 

It seems that she didn’t fully understand what I said, and right now I’m sure her brain is sorting it out. 

Of course, I don’t have one! Why are you suddenly asking me that? " 

Rohee is really cute right now, even if her face is really red and angry. 

And even though she’s older than me, she's still really cute. 

How come she doesn’t have a boyfriend? 

It seems that it’s impossible, considering that she’s a really beautiful woman. 

Ah! Maybe it’s because she’s really beautiful that it’s hard to approach her. 

Well, it’s true that Rohee is emitting an aura that makes it hard to approach her, but I think that’s a really good quality a woman must have. 

"I’m really sorry because if you have a boyfriend, I wouldn’t be so motivated to do my job." 

"Huh! I don’t really understand what you are saying! "Are you perhaps an idiot?" 

"I’m not stupid and I’m really serious about what I’ve said." 

"You must be joking! Seriously! I will leave now! " 

Usually it's rude to come here so early in the morning to complain, but since she’s an S-class beauty, I will forgive her for doing that.
